That window through which we look
it's your window.
A window with blinds banging
fiercely in the cold.
We chart territories, oaths,
peoples walking, mapping stillness.
Unexpectedness opens
and we face the crevasse, the vastness,
loneliness.
I've crossed time for you
past and future.
I'm here, immobile, a whiteness in me.
Leaning against this wall
I yearn for the calm.
